Welker participates in OTA’s
New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker was on the field for the team’s OTA’s.
Welker was seen sporting a knee brace as he recovers from an ACL tear at the end of last season.
He was seen participating in drills and running routes at about 75 percent at points in practice.
The wideout certainly wasn’t cutting with the same sharpness that he was just a year ago, which is hardly unexpected.
The team still has not given a timetable on when Welker may return to game action, but he looks to be ahead of schedule.
